MAXStick Plus Adds To MAXStick Product Line

 MAX International//MAXStick Products Ltd. is pleased to introduce another new liner-free, repositionable adhesive direct thermal label product to the MAXStick family line of products. MAXStick Plus™ is an 80 gram thermal base material made with our unique release and adhesive pattern for more demanding applications requiring durability and robust tack. The purpose of this development is in response to the Warehouse, Shipping, and Logistics market demand for liner-free variable length labels. We believe the market advantages for MAXStick Plus™ are:
- A sensitive direct thermal base producing outstanding 2-D and 3-D barcode readable images without the need for a liner.
- We continue to use a protective top-coat prior to the release coat to preserve the image integrity in harsh printing environments.
- MAXStick Plus™ is a continuous liner-free label so that variable length labels can be printed using only one size media. No need for die-cut, pre-sized labels and carrying additional inventory of various label sizes.
- Since we do not utilize any silicone in our release coatings, there will be no harmful effects or reduced thermal printhead wear.
- MAXStick Plus™ will stick to most any surface and will remain so until you want to remove it. As with our other MAXStick products, it will leave no adhesive residue or damage the surface where it was applied. There is no “glue build-up” on multiple use surfaces that require costly cleaning methods.
- MAXStick Plus™ is recyclable and biodegradable. (This supports the “green” initiatives addressing environmental concerns surrounding traditional linered labels and other silicone-based linerless label material.) Plus, MAXStick Plus™ is BPA Free!
- Since there is no release liner, the length of the MAXStick Plus™ rolls will offer more labels at the maximum diameter of the printer, offering greater efficiency and less roll change and inventory carrying costs.
- MAXStick Plus™ offers a competitive advantage over traditional linered labels while offering the same label properties. The cost of ownership utilizing MAXStick Ready printers is very competitive with traditional linered labels utilizing “label” printers.
We have done extensive preliminary testing (both print and environmental) of the new MAXStick Plus™ in our lab with exceptional results. We believe this new product addresses the cost of media concerns and is a product in a class by itself in the label market.
